We went with family and the place was pretty busy. Staff were friendly. I was particularly impressed with how fast the food was delivered to our table. I'm talking less than 10 minutes from ordering we all had our bowls of Pho. I ordered the PHỞ HẢI SẢN seafood bowl which came with shrimp, squid, fish cakes, imitation crab meat w/ rice noodle. As a pescatarian, this bowl was pretty good. The broth was flavorful. The seafood was generous. The noodles were silky. I will say that they have really limited vegetarian options for those out there. While they do have a lot in the back, parking is still pretty limited. The atmosphere of this restaurant was pretty busy and lively. They have both indoor and outdoor seating on a deck. Though I have had better pho before. If you are in the area, feel free to check it out. Otherwise I wouldn't go out of my way back here.
I've only been to the WC location, and get take-out exclusively. Could probably eat here every week if my partner didn't get tired of it. Boxes are always ready before I walk through the door. Portion sizes are fantastic. This place has all the makings of a DDD favorite--authentic, quick, and consistently delicious.
Kevin's Noodle is hands down my fav pho spot in the east bay! The flavors, the service, and overall it's just amazing! Always satisfies my cravings
A few years ago, fellow Yelper Shayla B highly recommended Kevin's. I finally tried Kevin's for the first time on Friday 2/21/2025 through a DoorDash pickup order. I got a small seafood pho with egg noodles. Don't let a "small" fool you because the portion was quite generous (and tasty)! The order was ready when I arrived so I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. The reasons for the 4 star rating are 1) limited parking and 2) no vegetarian options. I'm pescetarian and every Vietnamese place I've tried in the area has plenty of seafood and vegetarian options...except Kevin's. If I order again from here, I'd do delivery to avoid parking.
Very fast service and good prices. Very busy too and with fast service, table turnover is very quick. Nice portion of food given for the price.
OOOOOKAAAAYYYYY Walnut Creek I had no idea there was legit pho out here :O Count me impressed. Usually have to trek closer to SF or south bay for decent viet food but pleasantly surprised Pho Huynh Hiep is here (and 6 other locations??? I'm late in the game...) Our group of 4 walked in on a Wednesday afternoon and were seated quickly, even with a seemingly full house. They have efficiency down to a science. The staff seated us, took orders, and served our food/drink within probably 10 mins. All with a smile! THAI ICED TEA: Your standard thai tea. No complaints :P ĐẶC BIỆT (MEDIUM): Delicious broth & huge portions for the price. I'm honestly amazed when I get this quantity of food under $15 these days... And perfect flavor. Could use more beef, but for $13 a bowl, I am NOT complaining. Thankful they were open on Jan 1st!!!!!!!!!!!! Perfect for post-NYE recovery meal :3
I ordered lunch from here because my young nephews absolutely love this place. They each got the meatball pho, which arrived with the ingredients separated. I had to mix in the noodles, meat, veggies, and sauce which made it seem more homemade and was enjoyed by the boys. I ordered the vermicelli with grilled beef for myself, and it was pretty good. While the prices felt a bit high with the delivery fee, seeing how happy the boys were with their meals and boba drinks made it completely worth it.
Oh my Phok this place is good Broth hit the spot. I got the small pho w steak, brisket, and tripe for $13. Portions were decent for the price. I got a coconut water with it, you can tell they sweeten it, border line too sweet for me but it was a good compliment to the salty broth and came with chunks of coconut and a spoon to eat them :) Large, casual place with fast service. In total meal was $24 (includes pho, drink, tax, and 20% tip)
